Flexographic Ink Specifications
Flexographic Ink Specifications: Printed bag prices based on stock ink colors. Special Pantone (U) ink colors will be charged special ink fees. Custom ink colors not available on post-printed orders. Orders of less than 25m – will be charged $75.00 per color per order, more than 25m bags will be charged $50.00 per color per order. Custom ink fee includes one ink roll-out for approval when requested. Custom ink matches other than PMS colors and custom metallic inks – per quotation. Stock metallic ink – add 15% to total product cost. Substantial metallic ink coverage subject to review. Custom metallic ink not available. All inks can vary in color due to paper, ink, machine, and ambient lighting differences. Ink colors are based on printing upon white paper in ideal conditions. Due to the nature of waterbased ink, colors will change when printed on colored paper. Therefore, if PharmacyBag.com is required to match a Pantone color on colored paper (regardless of PMS number) a special match charge will be added.
Paper / Basis Weight / Bag Size Information
Paper Stock Variation: Paper roll stock can vary as it is run on different paper machines, at different mills, at different times. This can produce varying results in basis weight, color, and texture which can slightly alter ink color and print appearance on plain or printed bags. Basis weights subject to 2# variance.
Rub & Bleed: An inherent characteristic of any printed or dyed paper product is its susceptibility to rub or bleed when exposed to abrasion, grease/oil, or moisture.
Colors: Availability varies by size. Visit our website for availability – colors options are indicated on the product page. Colored paper is beater-dyed unless otherwise noted. Colored paper basis weights may vary from 30-35#, depending on color and method of manufacture.
Non-Standard Sizes: Special sizes available. Call for quotation & minimums.
Tolerances: All bag dimensions are subject to a 1/8″ width tolerance and 1/4″ length tolerance.
PFAS: Paper used at PharmacyBag.com complies with being PFAS Free compliant.
Recycled Paper Content: We strive to provide the highest possible recycled content while maintaining quality for each of our products. Our current recycled content commitment is listed below. Please call us if you need a higher percentage and we will do our best to accommodate.
